I think I'm two weeks pregnant. I might be three weeks. I want to lose 20 pounds. I want to be thin. I know the babies will eventually make me gain weight. Is it ok for me to lose twenty pounds when I'm in the first trimester? Will it hurt the babies?

I'm also going on a portion diet. I eat healthy foods and I don't eat much and I eat all in portions.

Umm you should of lost the weight before you decided to get pregnant. Losing weight while pregnant is not a good idea. Why get pregnant if you want to be thin? I don't get it.
You can however, start a healthy way of eating..vegetables, fruits and all that other healthy stuff you need for yourself and your baby and no one is saying you have to eat like there is no tomorrow..eat in moderation. Exercise is good too but just be careful, start off slow if you've never exercised before and if you have been working out just take it easy and listen to your body. Drink plenty of water and take breaks when needed.

It's not wise to cut down to extremes when pregnant. However, a lot of women lose weight in the first trimester due to morning sickness, I myself lost 10 lbs. Just eat healthy for you and the baby. Try not to gain excess weight and keep up a moderate excersize routine. Worry about losing extra pounds after the baby(s) here. Breastfeeding is a great way to burn extra calories not to mention the benefits for your little one.

I received this from a internet site however the main factor is, you MUST speak in your surgeon earlier than beginning to undertaking! Start step by step. Even five mins an afternoon is a well begin in the event you've been inactive. Add five mins each and every week till you achieve half-hour. Dress readily in unfastened-becoming garments and put on a supportive bra to defend your breasts. Drink tons of water to restrict overheating and dehydration. Skip your sporting activities if you are unwell. Opt for a stroll in an air-conditioned mall on sizzling, humid days. Above all, pay attention in your frame.

It is not recommended for females to lose weight during pregnancy. By losing 20 lbs during pregnancy, you are on a high risk or a miscarriage. The baby will lose the nutrition he needs to grow and survive.

As long as you walk, mild exercise is fine. A high protein diet is better for your baby.
