There's two sides to the stereotypical princess.
One is the regal-in-training, well to do, very educated, and mannerly person but there's another side to her where she's the opposite. She can also be a brat, or ***** as you may refer her to, and someone who thinks they are too good to do any physical or occupational work themselves, they believe they should be waited on hand and foot for every little thing.
And to top that off the negative side would also suggest that without the help of assistants, she would not be able to function.

Tell us what a stereotypical princess is? Is that Princess Diana? Princess Beatrice? I would guess that they act differently. Of course it's their "duty" to be polite and diplomatic. So, they are probably like that at least in public.

Like Princess Diana did --graciously and did not bow down to Queen Elizabeth and act like the Queen wanted her to.
She raised her children to learn how to live in the real world.
She endured a husband who cheated on her before their marriage

Supposedly....graciously. And if you think about it that covers a multitude of virtues. Off stage of course, she may behave differently!

Frequently, she'll spend her time locked up in a tower, waiting for her true love to rescue her.
