Time zones are a human convention. Visitors to the North Pole use whatever time they want. Usually this is the time back at the base camp, or often UTC (Greenwich time).
The South Pole station uses New Zealand time, because that's their supply base. It just happens that NZ time is UTC+12 hours. (+13 hours with daylight savings)

That depends upon where you stand at the North Pole...movement of a few steps could change the defined time zone for your "precise" location. Move a few more steps and you would change a few more time zones assuming you are right close to the exact spot.
However, this becomes difficult to deal with if you are a resident of the area, or up there on some kind of study trip.
So folks up there come to a local understanding about the use of one common time for everything in the near vicinity of the North Pole.

Depends on the part of the north pole. If you were facing towards london. It would be midnight, if you turned another 180 without moving, you would have moved 12 hourse in time.
Time in the north pole is VERY VERY VERY sensitive, one movement and it's bedtime. Another and it's morning!

If you sit on the north pole, you'll have all the time zones covered, so you can just pick one, or just use universal time like the military and astronomers do. Then you don't have to worry about your location.

Time stops at the poles. It is no time and all time at the same time. Time to roll another one.
