Spare ribs and sauerkraut. I have good friends that always bring it to our house for Thanksgiving. They are German. They are a great couple, and I think it's a hoot. It's a very tasty dish, I might add.
And, my very best friend (Mexican) brings tamales each year. She also brings them for our Christmas Day feast. I love the variety of food choices! Certainly, is never boring at our home.

My Sis In law cooked up a batch of Amish Noodles with butter and turkey drippings. They were tasty!

To me, the salad sounds like a great meal in itself, but.... Homemade garlic toast Crostini with a fresh basil leaf, thin slice of tomato topped with mozzarella then placed under the broiler until cheese melts.
