What's your first period story?

Can you tell what happened and how old were you please! And anything else!!

Haha, I looked at this question because mine is the perfect combination between hilarious and humiliating. It was Fourth of July and my Dad's side of the family (read: 50 people) always gets together at my Aunt's house on the shore of a river. All of us kids (about 20 or 25) were playing in the pool and the river, we stay in our bathing suits all day. That summer I was 13 and when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the day, I was bloody and it was starting to show on the suit.

So, I go in search of my Mom (a twenty minute hunt) and whisper it in her ear. So she says "I'll take care of it". And proceeds to ask ALL of my aunts and additional female cousins if anyone has 'supplies' that I can use. Then makes an announcement that we are going to the store for "something special". Meanwhile, I am being congratulated by my uncles, grandfather, and father on 'becoming a woman'. I wanted to freaking fall through the floor. Nothing like having my whole family know I had my period, much less that it was my first one. It was just the most wonderful summer trip ever (sarcasm!)

I was 13 when I started my period. And my mom had just went to work. I went to the bathroom and I saw I had this brown to dark red blood when I wiped. My dad was on his way home. I told him what happened, and he took me right away to the store. He stayed in the car and told me to go in because he didn't know what I needed! lol So my dad was the one who was there with me during that time, which I found hilarious. Most people would be embarrassed cause their dad did that for him, but I was the opposite. I was glad that I could go to my dad for something like that.

i was 3 weeks away from turning 12 and i was at camp and we were doing a long hike when i went to the lat my brand new White under where was all red my jeans were recked to. it was in the summer so i wore a clean pair of under where swim shorts boy shorts 2 pairs of jeans a pair of pj pants and sweat pants it was 110 out and i was wearing all that but i had and tank on only

I was 14 I think but not fully sure on that. I started at home on a Saturday just before Christmas. I was very lucky to have pads and tampons ready which was very useful.

I was 11 years old and it was the fourth of July. It wasn't really embarrassing or anything it was just that my mom, grandma, and older cousin kept on bugging me. Like you re a woman now and did you change your pad?

i was 9 years old and in 5th grade! I was the first to start out of all my Friends and I was so embarrassed! I wouldn't tell my teacher what happened but my friend eventually convinced me and i told her and she called my mom. it was quite and ordeal. i was so young and scared!

I was 12 in 7th grade, at school, i had a brand new pair of some fly WHITE jeans and...I started-I went to the nurse's office-she called my mom and I was so ebarrassed-I went str8 home and soaked in the tub!!!

I was 14 at a football game. I just new it was happeneing because if kinda felt like I was using the bathroom in my pants and it was kinda warm. AND......... i had some cramps.

I was 11 and i got one day before my 12th birthday it sucked and it sucks now because i always end up having my period a few days before my birthday which sucks!!!!!!
