Not only that, but there are 7 chemical systems that can form complex, stable molecules. The ammonia seas of Titan must be rife with creepy crawlers. Silicon and sulfur and gobblins of geranium based scintillators. The rare earth atoms also have stable, multivalencies. They could be very interesting.

i don't think that extra-terrestrial life (i.e. something that meets the criteria laid out by terrestrial definitions) requires any stretch of the imagination (in fact, a google search or something would probaby turn up news about the discovery of the existence of simple living organisms or bacteria on other planets to which we have sent probes). the real issue is the question of finding another instance of human life or something very comparable somewhere other than earth.

Why not, we don't know what the Master's plan are for all that space in the future, it may be reserved for us someday?

Wouldn't that be awesome, having a planet for yourself. (Just fantasizing)

There is no chance than life does not exist in other planetes.. There may not be creatures, there may be plants.. You can never be sure.. But I don't really care as long as no one bothers me in my old planet and my old house..

No, believe what ever you want. What it comes down to is being able to PROVE your theories to other people, but if you keep them to yourself, there's no work involved.
