No. A tear is the rain that washes the pain away. If we didn't have pain, then joy wouldn't mean anything.

The word "Extinct" really refers to once living creatures or those on the way to non-existence.
Now tears could dry up like mine did because I have dry eye syndrome. But then we have to remember that there are three types of tears. So if someone punches me I can still cry a certain type of tear.
Joy cannot be controlled-it is a free gift from our Creator.

I assume you mean in a non-literal sense. In this case, no, I don't think joy can exist without sadness. Instead, we would live monotonous, emotionless lives void of ups and downs. Being down at times is necessary to feel the highs of life.

tear's meaning sorrow??? if yes then NO. If we never felt bad, or lonely, or sad, or heartbroken then we'd always be happy which would mean that happiness would mean nothing to us, it would be too normal...kinda like if all you ate were sweets you'd never had a vegtable or anything bad tasting your entire life..not only would you be unhealthy but you'd have nothing to compare your experience to. Without sorrow there is no Happiness.
