I am wondering if anyone out there finds it offensive that I let a couple of 15 yr olds watch this movie. (It's rated PG) Now come on and help me settle this argument!

no, i think it's fine. There is talk about sex (the "preist" tells them to abstanie from it), but it's nothing they don't know already.

Not offensive at all, IMO. Why would it be offensive. Personally, if there were more people like Robin Williams' character in the movie, refusing to marry people until they were sure the couple was ready, I'm thinking we'd see a dramatic decrease in the divorce rate.

it won't cause them any lasting damage -- most move ratings don't make any sense, anyway. But if their parents don't want them to see PG movies without THEM knowing about it before hand you are in the wrong and you don't have any defense. That is a decision the parents and only the parents are entitled to make.

huh?? how could it be offensive? it is probably the silliest movie in the history of mankind.

i don't think it would be offensive because of the content. those 15 year olds have seen worse, trust me. but it would be offensive because the movie is such a pathetic waste of time and energy.

nothing really wrong with it. it's a romantic comedy. and if it's pg, why not let 15 y/o's watch it?
