Ain't "nation health care great"? North Korea has it, just as North Vietnam, and Cuba as well as France and Canada.

I guess everyone here wants to keep things as they are and let health care bankrupt the country. The current system doesn't work. Like it or not, the solution is very complex and probably beyond the comprehension of most people on this site. Everyone including the American public, employers, doctors, the insurance companies are going to have to give up something to make the system work. Right now, it's not working because all of us, the consumers are taken completely out of the picture. The insurance companies and the doctors and the drug companies are all lobbying for protection of their special interests and all of them for the most part have been successful. That's why the system is broken. Until some kind of reform takes place that puts some form of free market competition into the system, things are only going to get worse.

NO!

EVERY universal health care plan I have ever seen has a "cap" on benefits. What that means is that the total amount of money to spend on heath care is limited. A total amount of cash, for everyone in the country.

That means that somewhere in Washington DC is a guy who is in charge of handing out health care payments, and he is also in charge of deciding WHO gets the treatments. Since I have a Congenital Heart Defect and have lived 40 years longer than it was predicted that I would, he'll look at my health care records and decide that no, insurance will NOT cover the cost of my drugs... or any surgery I may need.

This man, whomever he is, will not determine how long I live.

All you need to do is look at Canada's health care system and ask, "is that what we need or want?" Canadians coming to the USA to have their babies is a huge red flag. No I don't trust her plan nor do I think we need it.

I trust her with the country's health care. If you already have insurance nothing will change. If you're poor or lose your job and health benefits, then you'd welcome her health care plan.

Seeing as how she gets loads of money (2nd most in all of congress) from HMO's and pharmacutical companies I highly doubt anything will change in regards to health care.

I don't. She's likely to lie about it and charge us extra money for things we don't need.
