How many of you have had your spouse cheat?

I'm talking married people here....
- Did your spouse cheat? (Or did you cheat?)
- Why?
- How did you find out? (or did the spouse find out?)
- Did you stay with them after? (or did they give you a chance?)

Just curious after reading some of these answers.... I hope it never happens to me, lol just wondering what the odds are.

I got cheated on. My ex said he was going out for a meeting but really he was in bed with many other woman. He got his revenge because he got AIDs from those women

I'm now divorced, but my wife was cheating the last few months that I was with her. That didn't bother me nearly as much as the fact she grew increasingly distant from me. I couldn't stand the lack of affection. I think marriage (or any relationship) should be a 2-way street. Maybe I'll do better in the future.

No, never cheated, spouse never cheated either. Although I had ex boyfriends who cheated but I refused to stay with them.

i just have to answer this my EX cheated with my friend of 20 years they had slept to geather as far back as 8 years before i found out i found out because his dumb *** left a note in my car he wrote to her.. we have been divorced for 2 years now and you know what i cheated on him and now im glad i did sevral times i think that as much as we all want it there is no such thing as manogamy.. im happy and single and yes would love to be in a relationship but just dont see it happening oh and i never got cought

Yes my husband cheated, he had a drunken one night stand
Why? Because he was drunk and selfish (and he'll tell you that himself)
I found out because he told me the very next day
Yes I stayed with him...we sought counseling with our pastor and dealt with it head on...we are stronger and happier than ever...I completely trust him and we are expecting our 1st child in april

The crazy thing is if you'd have asked me a year ago if he would cheat my answer would have been NO WAY IN HELL...he never hid anything from me...was a loving, attentive man and was a complete open book...but boy when he drank! I am so glad he quit and completely devoted himself to our marriage...

I love my husband and am here to say that healing and forgiveness are possible!!!

i was cheated on, why i guess he grew tired of me, guess she seemed more exciting, guess she liked to smoke dope, and i didn't. who knows. i did not find out until later on, when i demanded to know the truth if he was seeing someone. he finally let out a deep sigh and confessed. no i did not have the option to decide to forgive him or seek counseling, he wanted to be with her. there are no guarantees, no matter how long u have been with the person, or how old they are. sure glad i was not given the option, thinking back on it now.

My spouse cheated and I forgave him, because of the children. Why did he cheat? Because he said it was put in front of him and he took it. Apparently some men are such weaklings when it comes to sex! They only think of their own feelings!

Well this is a true story! I came home from work early 1 nite to find my sexy wife swallowing our neibours man hood. At 1st I got angry, and then took adeep breath dropped my pants and shoved it in hard, she was so shocked, she couldn't stop her activities, and we had a great 3some!! Repeated weekly, and then introduced his lady to the same, and we are still best friends&lovers 21 years later!!!
