I am a Hypothetical Man. And this is the Perfect time for one of those s.e.x. spankings you P&Sers always love so much. I can see that happening in a janitor's closet or a supply room too. (Now I need to walk around a little!!!!) I'll be back.

Though I would love to work with my wife, I would present the situation with the same adult respect and support that I would give others in the company.

the fact that she is my wife doesn't mean that she can steal, slack off or break anything at will. (She wouldn't, but that is not the point)

I would always try treat employees like they need to be treated....like adults, with respect.

You'd have to take the appropriate action, same as you would with any other employee. It would suck, but that's the only way to be fair & be able to say you did your job & didn't show favoritism.

Yeow! Have a couple drinks first then take care of the discipline IF other employees knew they did a no-no. If they don't, then I have a one on one discussion.
