It would be near impossible for this nation to re-establish a draft. Which is why the govt contracts companies like Blackwater and Tripple canopy to fill in the gap. People would rather pay a high price for contractors than be forced into service.

why would you need the draft? just send a couple of nukes their way and sell the glass afterward? why would you even think that america is going to war in iran? let the flappin united nations take care of it. after all it is an international problem or so i thought. mr doodles

If the nuclear option is not something we want to do and lets face it we don't because of OIL, then yes, I think the signs of the draft coming back is growing momentum. One more successful attack on U.S. soil should do it.

This is a free country and the government should not be able to draft people to attack another country. That should only be done when we are under attack and our soldiers are not enough to defend our country.
