Imagine you were once gainfully employed with a family to support. You lose your job when the stock market crashes and the Great Depression comes along. You were once a proud person who did not like receiving charity. You are now on publich relief because there are not enough jobs and you have a family to support. How would you feel?

Imagine you are a woman in the Great Depression. Your husband is either unemployed or has abandoned you with children to support. You are on relief. How would you feel?

I would think of things like than then write the paragraph.

Finally. I've got it. Money. The only thing that could possibly linger me into thinking about the consequences of my family and friends. Support isn't good enough, I need more. I have money though, regarding the rewards. A house, although all of the wind and dust would quickly add up- reffering to the dust bowl. I am thirsty, and my children are hungry. Only could I have clean clothes, even soap and water would be helpful. A job is what I now have. It seems like I am the only man in town with a chance. With a possibility of seeking a new life and starting over; The chances may be low though since fire side chats are saying there are aliens and new discoveries. But all we can use for food now are food stamps, since we still don't have enough money for even a ripe apple. Luckily, when my dear children are grown, they will have a family, friends, a house, and even enough money and food to support them. I have to go now, and foreget about the depression while watching "The wizard of Oz", at the local movie theater for a dime in change. Then I will weep once I have spent all of my money again;

All of this info is from the great depression, they went to movies for that price to get their mind off of it and the fire side chats by the president said that there were aliens and they believed it! But I hope I helped!
