well Ive had this phone for a while now, like three years. its a flip phone. has this hapenned to anyone before? not fair!!!!

Edit. yeah Donnie B i can recieve calls on it n i probably would be able to make calls if i could see what i was dialling!!!

As in any electronic device things can go wrong .
It could be any number of things , it could be a bad LCD screen or it could be a tear or loose ribbon cable connection which is brought on by movment when the phone is flipped open . It can be repaired .
If you are under contract with a service provider they do sometimes offer a phone up grade at no charge after a certain length of time . check with your provider on that one .
I have had 2 phones ( flip ) that have had similar problems but I was able to fix the problem myself ..
There are so many nice new phones on the market now , with many great features it might be worth checking that out , if it's a gsm phone you could check Ebay for a good deal ...good luck

Try a master reset( this shouldn't wipe out your data on the phone) & if this doesnt work, then the screen is out and it's time for a new one. You didn't say if the phone itself will make and receive calls. Many times this is the case.

Could be lots of things, its possible your backlight went out. Make sure you check the liquid damage indicator its usually a white sticker on the back of the battery. If the stickers red, could be liquid. Your warranty is usually a year.. I would get a new phone.
