Well, problem is, as you can see from the pics below, i have got an oil leak coming from somewhere around the flywheel generator area.. I cannot seem to find the cause of the leak and now it is doing my head in =] ..

Any ideas.. [see pics..]

You do have a bizarre problem there.

Hard to tell which oil that is,,,,,
but it looks like Transmission Oil in the photo

........................................
There's only 1 way Trans Oil can get in there.
Thats from a Crack in the crankcase casting.

That's EXTREMELY rare to see

Drain your transmission oil,,,and Re-Fill with Automtatic Transmission Fluid.

It will be a lot easier to distinguish which oil it is that's leaking.

ATF is much better for gearbox & clutch anyway.
......................
On 2 Stroke engines,,,it's Not so unusual to see ENGINE oil in there.

But the Engine will run VERY POORLY and erratic .

And with the Volume of oil in the mag area,,,
it's possible,,,but unlikely it would run at all for very long.
.......................................
There's NO path for Transmission Oil to get into there Except a Crack.

And Engine Oil would be VERY Diluted with Fuel.
It would smell like Gasoline very strongly.

That would be coming thru the Crankshaft seal from the engine.
.
............................
Determine WHICH oil it is,,then you can begin to find where it's leaking.

In the 3rd Photo--close-up of the Mag,,,
That LOOKS like a Crack just to the right of the wire grommet.
In about the middle of that triangle shaped cavity the Blue Wire runs thru.

Those features can be tricky,,,often they are mere Casting Mold lines.
That LOOKS more like a Crack to me though.
If it IS,,,there's no telling how it radiates thru the case internally.
It's just Suspcious-looking while there's a bad leak of undiscovered origin.

You may try using a VERY Bright Light and looking Very Closely at the Case Surfaces inside the Mag Cavity.
A Crackk would necessarily be To the Righ of the Crank Centerline.

And probably "higher" than the oil level,,,or it would be steadily dripping out.
Oil Level in those is NOT very high.

Oil gets slung around in Transmission,,,which is how it can leak from somewhere Higher than the Oil Level..

Smell Inside that cover,,,if it has a VERY distinct Fuel Smell,,,that's a Crankshaft Seal leak,,,,or it could be a crack in the Engine part of the Cases.

If not,,,it's almost certainly a Crack in case between Transmission Area and Mag cavity.

Good Luck,,,let us know what you find.

I'm very curious about what's leaking.

***If you dont want to,,or cannot ride it,,,,You can consider trying This---if it seems more like Trans Oil.

Fill it FULL with ATF,auto trans fluid.
Then "stand bike on end" safely ,some how.
Tie Back wheel & hang if from a rafter or tree,,,or but back wheel on a tall box or something.

That will Tilt bike Forward and along with the volume of excess oil,,,it will FLOOD the front and upper areas of the Transmission Case.
An area where there's normally NO OIL standing.

Sounds Goofy,,,and it's a "waste" of a couple quarts of oil,,,but it Will leak thru from Gravity almost Surely.
Just a suggestion,,,to perhaps Induce the leak to occur.

In any case it should Not be hard to find,,,,,from either riding it or oil-flooding it.

That looks like motor oil, which would be coming from the gear box.
Probably a crack in the crankcase.
If the crank seal were leaking - the oil color would be the same color as your pre-mix.
And the engine wouldn't run to good with a leaking crank seal.
Remove the flywheel to see if you can see a crack in the case.
Clean every thing of oil, put it back together and ride it for about 5min.
Then remove everything and check again.
Repeat the procedure, but run it 1min less each time if the area gets to wet with oil.

Oh, by the way, the chain's "master link clip" is on backwards.
It will jump off and cause major damage if you don't turn it around (the opening of the clip should be facing the other way. Think of the clip as a car and the opening as the exhaust).

Pics aren't working. However, ruling out cracked casings or damaged mating surfaces its surely going to be an oil seal or a gasket.

I couldn't find your pictures but I'd say Paul was right the rear seal. It's leaking around the crank shaft.

Haven't seen pictures but before you lay out loads of money
on repairs you could try an additive to your oil, its a oil seal revitaliser. I have known it to work on a couple of engines ok
you should be able to get it from most car/motor cycle spares shop,I have seen it for most oils eng, gear, trans, and power steering, and not very expensive
