yes!
it can eat a hole if left in your mouth and unnoticed
it is terribly painful
an i have seen happen a lot
it tears through the membrane of the cell and leaves residue and waste in the moth and if swallowed is eaisaly dealt with by stomache acids but some people try to wash it out with water in the mouth and it just dilutes it making it spread
