It's normal not to feel the baby yeat. Alot of women don't even notice the baby moving until around 20 weeks.

I personally felt it really early with my first (around 14 weeks) which isn't supposed to happen. My daughter is now almost 5 and I'm pregnant with my second... I completely understand having amnesia about the first pregnancy. I have all sorts of questions and people are like : "haven't you been through this before???" I feel so silly ;-)

Anyway, don't worry. Just be patient and I'm sure it won't be much longer.

Good-luck!

Mum of 4 here! I never felt movement until I was 20 weeks! Don't worry if the scan says all is ok its usually right and if its not your body will start the miscarrage process, but I doubt it.

It is true (most of the time) that the second time around you feel the baby earlier but be patient. I'm 17 weeks with my third and I'm just now starting to feel movement.

My first pregnancy I felt movement all the time. My second pregnancy I had twins... i felt movements a grand total of two times! They just didn't move all that much... and the two times I felt movement was more because I placed pressure on them! If your exams show nothing wrong then try not to worry about it....

With my expierience with baby #2 i did not feel alot of movement at first because i had a little more weight on me than my first... i felt it early with my first but sometimes woman that has had babies they tend to carry a little more weight on them than they did so it has to take a litlle more to notice those first movements .. if all is well at your appointments then i would not worry you will begin to feel more once the baby grows... good luck

It still may be too early for you to feel the baby or notice it. I felt my 2nd around 18 weeks. The normal range is 18-22 weeks. As long as your doctor says everything is okay then I wouldn't worry, you'll be feeling him/her soon!! Congrats!!

Awww, firstly congratulation! Dont worry it will happen really soon now. It was at 18 weeks with my second one, but my sisters was at 16 weeks so everyone is different. Any day now though!
