It's not our society that's digressed............It's Bonds..........I have NEVER heard of any athlete threatening the Hall Of Fame...........Bonds is not only a disgrace to the game, he's a disgrace to humanity..........I'm still waiting for the "investigation" to begin........They said they would wait till after the regular season but so far nothing.........Maybe someone should really start of Hall Of Shame for all athletes.........We'll have Bonds, O.J., Sosa and his caulked bat, Rose and his lies and a special section for refs who kinda sorta "alter" the game...........Sounds good to me.......CAT

Not in my lifetime and I have been around 67 years. I have been to the Hall 7 times and each time I am in awe of the accomplishments of the people enshrined there. When Tommy LaSorda went in I was there. After the ceremony I was with his brothers (we grew up together in Norristown Pa) and they told me Tommy cried when he learned of his selection. Now Tommy was always loud boisterous, and told it like it is. He still does. If he can feel humble, someone like Bonds should too. If it was up to me I would not even put him on the ballot.

Well theball is represented by the greatest offensive record and the man who holds it has every right to be outraged that it is being violated and mistreated in such a way. I doubt you're a baseball fan if you can stand seeing such revered record and piece of history tarnished and disgraced.

So you think it's OK for a non-baseball fan to use the ball as a publicity stunt?

Why the outrage over Bonds, but Mark Ecko seems to get off with nothing but T.V. time?
