A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further.
So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.
The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened! gIn fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were Allah's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If Allah allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never "fly"!
I asked for Strength.... .....And Allah gave me Difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for Wisdom...... ...And Allah gave me Problems to solve.
I asked for Prosperity.. .......And Allah gave me Brain and Brawn to work.
I asked for Courage..... ....And Allah gave me Danger to overcome.
I asked for Love........ .And Allah gave me Troubled people to help.
I asked for Favors...... ...And Allah gave me Opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted ........I received everything I needed!

believe it or not, rana ... after reading this post ... i decided not to surrender to my sadness ... and that Allah [s.w.t] knows the best ... and whatever He do,it's for our benefit ... even though we think it's the worst thing ever that could happen to us.
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
" But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and you know not. "
و عسى أن تكرهوا شيئا و هو خير لكم, و عسى أن تحبوا شيئا و هو شر لكم,و الله يعلم و أنتم لا تعلمون
Really,Allah [s.w.t] knows the best ....... and i believe in that so much...alhamdulellah for everything...alhamdulellah
Thanks again ya ranousha......that really helped me so much.. i was in such an urgent need to this story..
Jazzaki Allahu khairan ...

Thank you sweetie for sharing, that was beautiful.
Count Allah's blessings
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep... you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can pray in a mosque without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death ... you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
If your parents are still alive and still married... you can be counted amongst the very few.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
Count your blessings and thank Almighty ALLAH.

Salam
Has Allah SWT not given us all a lesson in life here individual to who we are and why we are created. Allah shows through all religions how virtues such posted and challenges such taken where all done to make it easier for us all in this life. There is prayers in the books that ask the Lord or Allah SWT forgiveness and things to be easier for those to come after. If this is been asked for 1428 years and so on, do you think those prayers are going un answered?
I suppose I have to let go of somethings, and bring other things to balance what is given as to what I can give.

MashaAllah that's such a sweet story!
I am so very thankful to My Lord for all that I have been blessed with, for all the opportunities I been given in life, for all the prayers that have been answered. I love Allah SWT more than anything or anyone. Allah is my life, my love, my Lord.
May Allah the Great help us and bless us all InshaAllah.

We should thank God by work not only by words.
- When we learn something, we should use it or teach it to others.
- When we have good health or money, we should help and do something for others who didn't have it.
- When we have faith more than others, we should support them.
- When we know about that great religion which shows us the way to God and organise our lives, we should let others know about it.
These are ways to be grateful to Allah beside being grateful with words.

salaam alaykum, you have said so much...sometimes in our dua's we don't get what we want. In the quran it states sometimes Allah SAW will prescribe a thing for you that you do not like but is good for you..example a beautiful woman
but one that would bring misery if she was vain and ungrateful. Sometimes what looks good is not good for us and Allah SAW knows best!! Wasalaam

great story
we are convinced that Allah s.w.t. knows very well all the benefits or harm of the things He has created.
As such, we should equally believe that He is the best judge as to what is good and harmful for us
