The cartilage on the top of my ear is smashed in on one side, like the cartilage is broken and all bruised on the outside. What do I do for it. Should I go to the doctors, I cant think of anything they could do to help but I dont wanna just leave it w/o knowing what will happen. Will it heal up on its own or should I go see a doctor?

Does it look ok,, form wise? If it is really obvious that it is smashed in, and you dont want you ear to look like that forever, you will need to go in and have it set. It is gonna heal into whatever shape it is sitting at.

Ouchies,, sorry about your ear. =/

The exterior ear is termed the pinna and includes a delicate cartilage coated by using dermis. although your case doesnt seem a broken ear cartilage there's plausible that the cartilage would desire to actual 'wreck' yet extra oftentimes it gets torn so we dont call it a broken cartilage. Its termed as a torn cartilage. Dont hardship, your ear only seems to have slightly blood clot in it. The exterior ear has lots of blood furnish (because of the fact of this we blush) and is likewise very very soreness comfortable (because of the fact of this it hurts badly whilst somebody twists your ear). a chilly compress with some OTC anti inflammatory like Advil alongside with an antacid gel (to ward off acidity by using Advil) would desire to do the trick. provide it it gradual bud, it extremely is going to settle. wish that facilitates Rgds Lex
