Stephen kings book 1408 is a movie now. The movie just came out on video. with Samuel L Jackson and another guy thats on lots of movie but his name slipped from my mind.

the movie was a bit scattered but i still liked it. i love john cusack(sp?) and sam j.
I liked the short story better though.

It wasn't a book; it was a short story of fewer than 50 pages. The story was much better. There was no "daughter" in the short story, and I think adding that to the movie was unnecessary. The story was supposed to scare you with no reason, and it was a lot creepier than the movie. It was okay, a bit of a chilling storyline, but having read the story first, I just wasn't that impressed with the movie.

My girlfriend and I loved it. One of the best Stephen King movies.

John Cusak is the other main character. I saw this movie and had to read the spoilers so I would stop being scared....LOL!

I liked the movie. It was good, but when it was cover it feel like something left out.
