Um, what?? Child support goes to the mother to help her care for the child, not to the child. Also, if you're married and have a child, you and your husband are responsible for supporting yourselves, it's not your dad's job. It sounds like you still have some growing up to do.
You and your brother are adults and should act accordingly. It's not "daddy's" responsibility to take care of you anymore.

OMG...that is ridiculous. Are you kidding? Your poor father. Bless his heart. Why are you grown kids still trying to f*ck with him about child support. I bet your mother gave him a hard time as well. You had to learn this craziness from somewhere. This is absurd. I tell you what. Go try to get child support out of him. I would like to see what the system tells you. You are married with a child and you want child support. Then you want to know if your ADULT brother can get it. OMG...I am speechless. Please just be the adult that you have obviously chosen to be since you are married with a child. How old are you anyway? In the majority of states child support ends when the child turns 18 anyway. It certainly stops when the child starts a family of their own. I feel so sorry for your father. He is probably a miserable mess because of you kids. This question has actually made me mad as h*ll. Have you talked to your husband about this? Hopefully he would not agree with you wanting child support from your father. You are HIS responsibility now, Honey...not your father's. Here is an idea.........get a job and support yourself and your child and leave your father alone.

Are you kidding? You have a husband and a child, and you want your father to pay child support for you? Do you know what child support is? It's money that goes to YOUR MOM for the care of your mom and dad's minor children. Meaning under 18. Kids in college is a different thing, but if you're married, you don't constitute as a child anymore.
Time for you and your brother to get a job.

Only if its back owed child support, and then it that case it would go to your mother. Your husband should be supporting you, along with yourself, not your father, you're a married adult. Your brother probably won't because most child support orders are up to the age of 19, unless enrolled full-time in school.

First of all, you can not collect child support, unless you are collecting it from your own husband for your own children.
Secondly, unless your brother is a full time student, child support payments to your mother for him stop at age 18. If the 2 underage sisters are your father's your mother can collect child support for them.

No.
Even if you are under 18, you are married and a mother...that makes you an adult in the eyes of the law.
As for your brother, he is over 18 and is no longer entitled to child support as he is legally an adult. The only way he might be is that if he is a full time college student and not employed.

You can't. A father has no obligation to pay child support when the children have reached legal age (18 or 21 depending on the state) or have become otherwise emancipated- which you became when you got married.
Also, depending on which state you guys live in and what the divorce decree says he may still have to pay for your brother, or he may not.

Oh dear God
What does your husband say about all this. Is he all for this cus that would make him as stupid as you. Seriously did you do this just to get called out. You cant be this Stupid. Your husband should take your child and run, run far far away. Because when and I do say when you get divorced you will pull every trick in the book to get every dime from that man. For as long as posible. Women like you give honest woman bad names. That is why so many men are so suspicious of women you know. Grow up. Get on with your life. You cant get child support. Your an adult.

Depending on the final resolution, your mother may eligible to collect child support for you brother if he is still going to school and the final divorce decree has a clause for this condition. If not, you mom could request your father continue to send the support for him until he does complete his education, but it would be voluntary for him to pay this amount. As to you, no your mom cannot collect for you, you are an adult living with your family. Sorry, nice try. God Bless

No, the only person entitled to receive child support is your mom to support the kids she still supports. The kids have no standing to request child support. Besides, you are clearly emancipated and no longer your dad's or mom's responsibility. Don't believe me? See a family law attorney, they will tell you the same thing.
