I have a 96 Avalon that is clicking when I turn, I was wondering what it would cost to have it repaired, and if I did it myself, how difficult is it?

Actually you can walk into any auto parts store and purchase re-manufactured half shafts. A half shaft includes the inner and outer CV joints new boots and an axle all put together in one part. The cost is very close to $60.00 per half shaft. It would take an independent mechanic about 3 hrs. to change both sides. Any NAPA, Carquest, Auto Zone, or Advance Auto has exactly what you're looking for. Don't buy these parts at your local Toyota dealer. The price will rise hundreds of dollars.

300-350,depens of the parts price.Replace all axle's on both sides. But let the mechanic do the job, that is not that easy on Toyota's.
