I got a new mac book I have been saving for a year and the packing sticker got stuck on it and i sliced it open enough with my nail to open it but now there is sticker on either side of it. I heard you can use hairspray and windex to remove it...how do you get rid of it?? Someone told me dont use nail polish remover because it will destroy the macbooks plastic. HELP!!

never put water around electronic parts, use a little wd40 on a clothe, you might have to do it repeatedly but it will work without harming the computer

simple green.. non toxic and it takes off almost anything. and it should be safe on your macbook either that or soapy water and a soft cloth.. and just start rubbing... make sure you put like a towel somewhere around the area so in case water leaks down, it will hit the towel and not any major componesnts.
