No, I wouldn't say the sex wasn't good. I would say that you just didn't achieve to the fullest. Before I knew what an orgasm was or how to recognize when I was about to have one, I was already to enjoy sex and I certainly did!

Sex is best when it's with someone you trust, can relax and be open with, experiment, and talk to openly about what feels good and what doesn't without worrying about bruising egos etc.
