Of course... If taken seriously this cannot mean, 'succeed at the cost of failure' can it? If you attempt a (moral) success, any cost is 'reasonable' for this will simply mean 'effort' not an act of moral treason...

depends on the cost.if the cost is my girlfrind,my love then no.

but in general if its something i believe in,apart from my friends and girlfriends then yes
