Hi, i've just bought a dartboard and cabinet (Phil Taylor set from Argos) but am not sure how and where to put it up. The best place in the house would be on a plasterboard wall. Would a plasterboard wall be strong enough to support a cabinet and dartboard and if so what is the best way of fitting it? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can install them on a plasterboard wall. Buy special plasterboard wall plugs from a DIY store. The plugs open at the back as you screw into them. They are very secure and the wall will be strong enough. I've got a dartboard and large mirror on mine.

You can buy special fixings for plasterboard but if it's very heavy try to locate one of the timber studs supporting the plasterboard

You can locate the studs in the wall, they are usually 2 x 4's, or you can purchase"moly anchors" that are designed to work with wallboard.

here is a link to what they look like
