Do you prefer cats dogs or another animal for a pet?

Well right now I have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and some fish and a tadpole. My favorite animal though is rats. They are just so cute and cuddly!

I would like either a dog, a bird, a rabbit, or all three. A bird is safer with a dog or a rabbit than with a cat as the cat will try to eat it. I should know, we used to have a whole menagerie. We had a dog, a cat, an anole lizard, a hamster, and a couple of zebra finches as well as some goldfish that ended up in the neighborhood cat's(not ours,we got her later) stomach. We also had a rabbit and a frog before that. I like dogs, birds, and rabbits mainly because they are fun and easy to take care of(in my opinion). If you could have any animal in the world as a pet I would want a dove, a bear, or a deer.

Even though I don't have one, I would prefer to have a cat. You don't have to walk it and I'd rather clean a litter box than pick up @@@ from a dog. A dog can turn on its master and a cat can't.

I do prefer cats as pets for me personally, but well-trained dogs are great, too.

I like all animals, but I am partial to dogs. My absolute favorite pet was a rabbit.

I prefer cats simply because they are not too emotionally needy and daily walks are unnecessary.
