Yep. I throw them out the school bus window to see if I can hit the car behind me all the time. (it's actually pretty fun)

Love those things. The best ones I ever made came from a full sheet (8 1/2 by 11), folded in half, then started folding it into a paper airplane, winding up about 3" long. On a calm day, it would sail 50 - 100 feet.

ahh, I can't top that! I made a really good paper airplane once in Social studies, we had a sub. Instead of watching the movie i was folding and people were watching me, cause i make decent planes. This one was really good cause i stuck a bit of gum in it to keep it together. I threw it and it continuously circled the room. whenever it landed after its circle +, some other kid would do it again. better than the movie, and Mrs. Wilson is crazy, she's an old lady (though really sweet) and was watching the movie with interest : )

Yes all the time in school when I went but also when my boys were little I'd make em for them also. I can still make one and it will fly... not sure how far though..LOL
