my friends half-sister is mixed (black and white). She looks white, you would never think she was black (blonde hair, light skin, no dominant black features). Her mom is lighter than most black people so that could be why. My husband is mixed as well and he also looks white...Anyways, the little baby cries when black people are around her, she cried at my husband's mom and his uncle...(she never cries around people and they were the only black people around) I'm 8 months pregnant and I worry my baby will be scared of his family. I really don't want him around them though because they are all ghetto freaks (won't get into it) ....Why do you think the little girl cries??

Are they around her often? Sometimes a baby can be scared by something unfamiliar. When my daughter was a little baby her normal pediatrician was out and a black man was the covering pediatrician and my daughter freaked out. She had little exposure to black people at that point. She is older now and has been exposed to a variety of cultures at this point, so she is no longer afraid. I'm sure the baby will get used to them the more she is exposed.

Make sure the baby spe ds a lot of time around them and she will be used to them and feel comfortable. The other baby might cry because maybe the people are new to her and they don't look the way she is used to people looking.
