how much weight did you gain in your pregnancy? Is it possible to have a large baby even if you don't gain too much weight?

With my second pregnancy I gained 35 pounds. I had twins that were 8lbs 3oz and 8lbs 12oz. My last pregnancy I gained 25 pounds my daughter was 10lbs 12oz.

Yes, it is. With my second I gained a total of 35 pounds and had a 9 1/4 pounder. The weight you gain is no indication of how big baby will be. My first I gained WELL over 50 pounds and she was 8-6.

It is possible to have a large baby even if you don't gain that much weight. This lady I know gained a normal amount of weight with all of her pregnancies even though her smallest was 11 pounds, 2 ounces. Her biggest was 14 pounds, 1 ounce.

I had a ten pound baby and gained maybe 3-5 more pounds than with my others. It wasn't a very significant amount of weight but my belly was a lot bigger!! People thought I was nine months along when I was only 7!!

It's possible to still have a big baby it's all about the genes from you and your baby daddy, I had a 9 pounder and I had gained about 65 pounds, not watching what I was eating....

I gained 8lbs my whole pregnancy and my daughter weighed 9lbs 3oz at only 38 weeks. It sure is possible. I was overweight when I got pregnant and they told me not to gain over 15lbs and that was not a problem! She seriously made me LOSE weight, how, I am not sure, but she did. My grandma did that too my mom said but she was tiny. She weighed 115lbs when she got pregnant and was 105lbs when she had my aunt that was almost 10lbs... so....

My mom lost over 60 pounds with her last pregnancy she was sicker than a dog the whole time, my brother was born 9 pounds, the biggest of all three of us.

yes first baby gained 50lbs she was 8lb 11 oz, second gained 30 lbs he was 9lbs 4 oz, last baby weighed 7lbs 10oz and I gained 25 lbs.

My sister's son was 9.5 lbs. She gained 54lbs during her pregnancy.
