The story of Jon Lester. The story of his battle against cancer and how he came all the way back to win game 4 of the 2007 world series.

I know first hand what he and his family went through.

There was a pitcher the yankees signed in 1991 named Brien Taylor He was supposed to throw 100 miles hr ,Scott Boras was his agent,He was supposed to be fast as lighting,One night he went into a bar,and some guy picked a fight with his brother,Brien tore his labrum, and was never the same again! A movie was gonna be made about him but it was scrapped,,Also Oliver Stone, Walked up to George Stienbrenner last yr at some party,,And asked if he can write his story! George told him when he dies,he can have all his memiors and do a movie of his life,,But NOT until he was dead! I REALLY REALLY WANT to see his life story on the big screen! Even if he's not a ball player!

Satchell Paige would be my pick. He wanders through the ***** Leagues, finally making it to the majors in his 40's, and helps the Indians win the 1948 title. He pitched almost 20 years later for Kansas City for an innning. Great personality, has plenty of stories about him -- it's a first-rate movie waiting to happen.

Roberto Clemente had an amazing life story. He grew up in poverty in Puerto Rico, played ball as a youth, was noticed by Dodger scouts, picked by the Pirates off of the Dodgers when they tried to hide him in the minors, became a star, lead his team to two world championships, was a great humanitarian and died tragically. He then became the first Latin American in the Hall of Fame. What more could you ask for in a movie?

in the previous I even clicked on the question I knew that Hamilton and Dickey have been going to be the suggestions... i might particularly see Hamilton's - his all-time low become self-inflicted, making it greater sensible for a action picture plot, and plus Dickey ought to probably only be a fluke. Hamilton has proved he's not a fluke, yet an elite participant already. Dickey seems to be doing ok now the place as Hamilton battles demons every day. no longer purely did Hamilton abuse alcohol and canopy himself with tats, yet he threw a nasty ball at a fan who plunged to his dying attempting to seize it. i might prefer to confirm Edinson Volquez in that action picture and have some thing be pronounced on the subject of the commerce. i'm no longer asserting Dickey did no longer have any bumps to bypass by way of in his highway, yet Hamilton only had many greater captivating activities in his existence. BQ: Ranger risk BQ2: Manny Ramirez. energetic character and retired two times using steroid suspensions.

Good question! I would have to put in John Lester for Boston. Kid had cancer and was going through treatments, a year later, he was the winning pitcher in game 4 of the World Series. That would be good. Also, if Josh Hamilton continues to play well and becomes a big star, I could see a movie about him as well with his past drug addiction and all.

I'm sort of shocked that there's been no Roberto Clemente movie...but for someone out of the ordinary, I'd like to see a J.R. Richard movie.
