I have been with my guy for 3 years and we recently bought a house together. We are very much in love and he tells me he can't wait to get married and have kids, yet he hasn't proposed yet. What is he waiting for?

He says he's waiting for the "perfect" moment.

Maybe he wants to wait long enough he can allow you a little bit of a "surprise" moment. (?)

But I would agree with the ladies... no sense in fretting, especially if you're doing something as serious as going in on a house together... ask your man.

Wish you the very best.

Actually, he's not ready yet. He's not sure how much more you'll change, as the house has changed you (and him) and he's in no rush. Why should he be, and he needs to be sure!

Have you talked to him about it? Have you asked him what he's waiting for? There's nothing wrong with discussing marriage with your significant other.

" no need to buy the cow, when the milk is free"

Tell him it's time .. you're tired of being the kept woman, you're going to pick out a dress...

He should arrange for the minister and start looking for a best man...

Because he doesn't want to. Ever consider that? He has what he wants.
