I just watched it. And it's the most sexist thing I have ever seen.
1st. They are made out to be independant women making it without their husbands. But yet the plot is to steal their husbands money (because they could never be able to make it on their own?)
2nd. Diane Keatons daughter says 'Dad, Im a lesbian!' to get back at him. Why are men made out to be the ones who have a problem with it?
3rd. First wives club - what about men who have been cheated on?
4th. I hate it !

1st: They got the money to hit their husbands 'where it hurt', per se. It was an act of revenge, not desperate money grabbing because they couldn't earn money themselves.
2nd: The daughter told him then to but him more on the back foot. It wasn't because he'd have a problem with it, it was because it would be a shock and they wanted him not on his game.
3rd: Its a chick flick, for the love of small fuzzy creatures, not a documentary on divorcees clubs. Its meant to be about women.
4th: Good for you. I'm sure this makes you wonderfully happy. Please realize it is a film meant for entertainment and try and go outside and breath deeply occasionally.

OH PULEEZE!!! If you actually watched the movie you know that Diane KEaton's character was a successful ad exec working WITH her husband and gave it up to raise their daughter...and Goldie Hawn's character was an Oscar winning actress who's lucrative movies gave her husband the ability to start his business and buy all the crap he had...and then these three women, after devoting their love and attention to their selfish husbands are TRADED IN FOR A YOUNGER MODEL?!! You are wharped!!! This movie was awesome!!

Good point, but lets face it whether it's Child Support, Alimony, Palimony etc.

We are all getting screwed in the end.

I actually love that movie, but I can see your point of view.. But there are so many 'I am Man, Hear Me Roar!!' movies, you should try to be a little understanding of our little kicks..
