Port 53 is DNS (Domain Name System) if your computer can't receive from port 53 you wont be able to browse the internet at all except by typing IP addresses. (which you can't know with out a lookup table that DNS supplies) I don't know what firewall would even think of blocking that port. If its a "local" application then it probably is the router trying to give you DNS information.

However, if your surfing just fine then you indeed may have a trojan, worm, or virus trying to use that port in which case you need to clean the machine!!

if you dont activly use a program that uses that port.. dont.. it will just act as a backdoor..
