No, I disagree. It only takes a few seconds for the person to say "no pickles" and there is no rule against ordering special orders so, sorry but I disagree.

It doesn't matter because all of the food is made to order anyway. We do not keep burgers made up ahead. They have not done that for years. Most of the time if there is a wait in drive-thru it is because they are waiting for fresh fries, chicken, etc. Some Mc Donald's (Like the one I work at) are open 24 hours, but we lock our lobby at 11pm so they don't have the option of going inside. We have a holding pan that keeps the burger patties hot and we are only allowed to keep a certain amount in them at a time, depending on how busy we are.

I don't find this to be a problem. The normal procedure is for the franschise to ask the person to pull into a parking space. They send a runner out with the order. So, with this procedure, these people are the ones that make the line move fast.
The problem is when they run out of fries, or something basic like that which many customers will want. You are waiting because that item is something very likely that you, or the person that is behind you, also will want.
The problem is also with variety. The more variety the franchise has, the higher chance things like a Big Mac won't be available. Places like In N' Out don't have this issue, becuase they just do burgers.

If I want to order something "special" it is totally and completely my right to do so. If any restaurant were to tell me that I had to accept the food the way the "normally" served it, they would never see me spending my money there!
Actually Burger King was one of the first national chains to capitalize on the fact that not everyone likes their food the same way! If you do not want to wait behind someone with a "special" order, park your car and you go in to the building!!
You do not like waiting for others, so you want the rules changed to suit you? This says something about you and your character and maturity level!!

NO I dont agree. The other person could be allegric to pickles or cheese and have to have it left off. Since 99% of your restuarants don't "fix" the burger til it is ordered it takes no longer to fix a fresh one. Actually takes less time leaving off the extras. If you are that impatient why dont YOU go inside to order.

No I dont agree. It takes them only a few seconds to say no pickle or no cheese, or with cheese or whatever. if you are having to sit in line for a long time, its not because of the person's burger that they wanted. its because its sometimes understaffed, long lines, very busy... people only have two hands, and you should respect the fact that all you have to do is sit in your car while the workers inside do everything for you. think about that next time.

NO! That person has every right to go throught the drive thru just like you do. If it bothers you so much you should go in and order. There are some people who are allergic to certain types of food so they have to order the food that way.

No I disagree...It's order what you like and how you like it the way you like it at Mc D's....so that's what they do...so you have to wait and be patient...no matter what you do in life you have to wait and be patient and wati on ppl no matter where you are..if you don't like it, get out the line. You have to wait for your order too as well...what if they have to cook your order all over again or something special with your order..what then?????

No, they got there before you and should be able to order what they want. Most restaurants ask this person to park to the side to assist other customers. I don't really think they are the hold up.
