At my 20-week ultrasound, the lab tech asked if I had to pee a lot. I said yes. She said it's no wonder because the baby is using my bladder as a pillow! I'm 25 weeks now and still have to pee constantly. It doesn't get any better.

LOL sorry but thats where my baby has been since 14 weeks! The OB says the baby is really low and I pee more than that! Some days not as bad as others but even when I pee I still feel pressure from the abby. I am 19 weeks with baby 3. My first born was also low and was always on my bladder!

3 times an hour??? That is quite a bit... you may want to ask the doc about that because it could be a sign of a UTI which can cause problems in your pregnancy. Usually at the beginning you have increased urination and after the first trimester or so, it goes away till the 3rd trimester. The baby shouldnt be putting THAT much pressure on your bladder right now. I suppose it may still be because of hormones (thats why you pee alot in the first trimester) and if it is, it should be ending SOON. I think ya may need to get checked for a UTI.

Impossible to tell. I can only imagine it will get worse, as the baby is relatively small now. When she gets bigger (or he!) she will be a bit short on space and the bladder will inevitably get in the way.
Have a word with your nurse at the clinic next time you go.You may have a UTI (urinary tract infection) which is just making you feel like the baby is lying on your bladder.
Good luck. It's not easy. But over all-too-quickly. Savor every moment.. even the uncomfortable ones!

Well Sweetheart, sit back and enjoy...one day you will look back on this an laugh. That day may be a ways off but it is all worth the miracle you have there!! Actually, sitting back, like on a sofa does help. It moves the baby a tad off your bladder. Now, when you get up it's a whole different ball game. Good luck...Hang in there!!

Unfortunately yes. If it becomes very painful though, get checked out at the doctor to make sure that you aren't just having a bladder infection or urinary tract infection. Being pregnant is not comfortable by any means.

It gets SOOOO much worse (as I'm sure you may have already assumed). Once the baby gets a little bigger, you can actually support the baby with your arms and kinda' lift him/her off of your bladder...... this is also really great when the pubic pain and pelvic girdle pain comes into play.

very normal and soooo understand where your coming from. I wake up in the middle of the night at least 10 times to use the potty....can be very annoying. this can last for your entire pregancy so quite frankly we'll just have to deal with it.
