He real, Don't underestimate witchcraft. Witchcraft is real, and it really does call out Demonic spirit, My pastor had a similar experience as ur teacher. TRUE STORY!! My pasotr was in college, and one of the student bought in a oji board, just to scare people off. When the professor saw this, he said "Hey, ask the "Great Oji Board" whos answering your question". So, everyone was curious, since the 2 holder accused each other for moving the oji board. So they asked the oji board "Who is answering out question" ( They were all fooling around by the way) and then suddenly everything got quiet, and atmosphere changed. The wood thingy landed on B-E-E-L-Z-E-B-U-B everyone was laughing and went "What is Beezebob!??!" then the professor took out a dictionary and found the word Beelzebub Beelzebub definition: Noun, 1. The Devil; Satan. 2.One of the fallen angels in Milton's Paradise Lost. Beelzebub was next to Satan in power. 3. An evil spirit; a demon. 4. Lord of the Files Then people started accusing the 2 holders if they did it on purpose, then the 2 holder (crying) said they didnt so the professor took the board and invited 4 students who were brave enough to try it again. So 4 students took a seat with the professor, and professor told them to ask the oji board if Jesus was the Savior. Then again, everything got quiet. This happened in the West coast during June (hottest day of the year) Suddenly, one of the holder looked really pale and ask others, why is it soo cold in the classroom, where there is no ac and no wind. The professor touch her, and she was freezing cold!! So they stopped... Now you believe??? Don't try it at home..

I belive fortune telling and horoscopes can sometimes be influenced by the devil, but not always.
Many times fortune tellers are just good at reading people, since they deal with many people every day. So they can tell by how you walk, talk, act, etc. what you're like and can say things they know you want to hear. But I've heard of other occasions when they are being given knowledge from the devil to purposely mess with the people they talk to, or to try to put doubt in their minds about God, etc.
I think horoscopes are similar. In my opinion, horoscopes are written by nerds behind desks at offices, who just make them vague enough that they can apply to practically anyone. But some astrologers try to interpret signs and write horoscopes, and astrology can be sometimes influenced by the devil, or lead people into other types of witchcraft, etc. So I'd stay away from it, other than for a random laugh.
I can see why you'd be interested in psyhic stuff, but it says clearly in the bible to not deal with psychics or mediums, because you should trust in God for all your questions. So to be truly safe, don't get involved with it and have faith that if God wants you to know something, He'll find a way to tell you, and then there's no chance of being influenced by the devil.

Hello Dizzy
I have worked for spirit for many, many years & No there is nothing evil to be found.
The Devil, evil resides in the human heart, it is part of our nature. It is in the intent behind actions of people who wish power for one reason or another. One that you decide to rise above or not, that depends on the individual !
Horoscopes deal with personality traits derived from the positions of the stars.
Fortune Telling is am old term used to describe many different means to look into problems to see which dirrection they are taking. This usually involved an extra sensory ability that we all posess.
In Peace

Since I am also a student of Kabbalah, and also a psychic I figured I would take a crack at this question. First, I do not believe that being psychic or studying astrology is the work of anything of the devil.
The current version of the Bible, which is translated from Hebrew, to Greek, To Latin, To English, has many things, which are based out of context. One of them is divination. Much of the Bible is a code, and every single word, size of the letter, and even the first word of each portion of the Bible has a meaning, which is not translated into English from its original Hebrew.
In Deuteronomy, is the prohibitions towards divination, but it is put in the context of going to someone outside of the "tribe" to get information such as what occurs when the Golden Calf is constructed.
This again is repeated many years later when the Pope's (who all new astrology) wanted to keep the money within the catholic church and did not want people to go outside of the papacy to get information from God. In other words, they wanted a monopoly on the information. Those that did not comply, were put to death. This idealism lives on to this day, because religion has attempted to capitalize on anything prophetical.
Remember, that Jesus stated in Matthew that many will come after me that will do greater works than I, and remember that Jesus really did not condone organized religion and refered to them as pharasees.
At the end of the day, it comes down to what you feel enriches your life. If you want to know more about yourself, and on a deeper level, then it is perfectly fine to study anything that gets you to evolve on a deeper level.
Regards,
Storm

I don't believe that.
I believe that fortune telling has pros and cons, not just cons.
And I've studied astrology since I was 11.

That's like asking if a swimming pool is evil. It depends on the person or persons using it, and how they use it. Most people just have fun. Very few use it to get rid of the pesky kid next door.

Alot of the psychic stuff is nothing more than a scam. Have you ever read about the witch of endor in the bible? God would prefer you consult him in prayer, not some psychic.
