I think Sage is right and you must mean 'stars' instead of 'thumbs up', since you don't get these when asking a question. A star may or may not mean someone agrees with a question. It usually means that someone thought others would be interested in the question or the person who starred might want to look at the question again themselves, to see what others answered, for example.
