I was going to answer this question with some clever sarcastic response but it is such a waste of time. THe only thing that seems obvious to me is that there are a lot of people who really believe that Gore is for real.
I wanted to be fair so I watched his movie. It was so far fetched that it made me wonder why so many people just blindly follow him?
I understand people saying that pouring pollutants into the atmosphere is not a good thing but the sky is not falling, the State of Florida is not going underwater, the polar bears are not drowning, the hurricanes are not wreaking havoc on the western hemisphere.
The only thing that seems to be happening is that global warming is creating a disease that effects the rational thinking of those who believe the rantings of a very large chickin little.

Sadly, this is only obvious to those who were willing to accept the idea in the first place. Even if a day comes when the ice caps completely melt and most coastal cities are already flooded, the majority of people saying he is wrong now will still say he is wrong while they are camped out on roof tops. They will say its a normal change in the Earths rotation and its not our fault. They will eagerly search for oil where the caps used to be and say how lucky we are that those annoying ice caps are gone. The people who refuse to accept global warming don't do so because of science that supports them. Rather the opposite. They find science to support what they have decided to believe no matter what.

Gore is nothing but a lying and deceitful man out to scam the public into believing that we're sinners for driving our SUV's to make money.
Ask him why he still flies around in his comfortable private jet which burns more carbon credits that an SUV does in a year?
Ask him why he hasn't sold his nice big mansions to a homeless shelter?
Ask him why he didn't choose to walk/ encourage people to walk to his concerts for global warming awareness or whatever they were for?

For me, I've got a litmus test to determine whether somebody is fit to be president. If they are willing to immediately bring all the troops home and not start wars against 3rd world countries that pose no threat to us, then they are fit to be president. Although Al Gore is probably better than the likes of Hillary, he almost certainly falls short on this test.
