I ask because these are the choices they offer . And no , I don't think they'll gain control of our country . But what if they got ahold of WMD's ? That is possible . And what if they destroyed a city or cities , stopped , and offered you a chance to convert or die ?

I would ask them if they truly intended to hurt me if I said "no". ---If they assured me that they would harm my body,--- I would throw my shoulders back, stand up strait, with my chin held high, and I would say in a calm and confident voice, " Wait til I go to get my prayer rug, and I'll meet all you brothers at the masque,---peace Bro.".

There are much worse things that death.
I suppose that many would say they would convert and then continue to pray to God. Remember that Peter denied Christ 3 times the night Christ was arrested. We will not know how we will attempt to handle the problem until we are individually faced with it.
They are building mosques every where in this country. One is going up just a few miles from where I live in northern VA. I know there is a couple very close to Moody Reds location.
I fear that something close to the question will happen soon. Not in my lifetime, but your children's lifetime.

This isn't even a question for me. I am a proud United States Veteran of the United States Army and I know for a fact that with all of our forces and our allies forces joined together it would never happen.
If they hit or try to hit us with a WMD don't think we wouldn't do the same. It's a tit for a tat in war. All is fair in love and war.
And if they did, I'd move to my Father's country of origin, Ireland long before they took hold.

I think they had better take most of us out in 1 fell swoop with nukes 'cause it sounds like they've got a mess of fighters on this page alone.

They'll have to kill the entire country first...I really don't think anyone would just let walk through city after city and take over!
If I die defending my country/city....then so be it....but I will not give up America to them!

Hmmm, being a Roman Catholic, and my family being it for well over 1000 years, and Catholics having such a long feud with them, not to mention I live in a state where 2/3 of the population own guns, I'll fight to the death and then some.

Don't underestimate the liberal democrats. A single attack with a nuke and every one of the liberal democrats currently running for president will offer surrender.
As for me, I am Christian and will not disavow my Christianity. It is my way of life and is part of who I am. I cannot have faith in any religion that would kill someone who did not believe exactly the way that I do.
But I would not die very easily. I would join the rebellion, and believe me there would be one, and we would become the terrorists. Mecca would be destroyed as would every single other Islamic leader till there were none left to lead their Islamic religion. Bad I know, but the alternative is dying. I choose to fight.

I would chose to die, my faith is stronger than my desire to live a lie. That is what I feel converting to a religion under penalty of death would be. Death and hopefully salvation with God would be my reward for this I hope.

I guess, unless you are truly faced with imminent death, you don't know how you would react...
I believe in my heart I would take the two seconds of pain, over a lifetime of knowing I denied everything I had believed in all my life...
I also believe it would be a harder decision if some one held a saber over my husband or children's neck and said THEY would die if I didn't convert...
Let's pray we never have to find out.
