i asked a question about iraq and it seems that the democrats and libs only care about americans and no one else
does that suprise anyone else ?

better than caring about everyone else instead of Americans, and taking a leftist view toward foreign politics while claiming that fellow Americans deserve their situation.

Not surprising at all. When you think about the fact that some 80,000 INNOCENT Iraqi's have died in this war. When you compare that to the 3000 that were killed on 9/11. I for one do not believe that 1 American life is equal to 266 Iraqi lives.
It really has nothing much to do with democrat or liberal, it's simply the fact that it isn't over here. Out of sight and out of mind. Our population has been desensitized.... Or maybe most people do believe that American lives are more important than Iraqi lives. I hope not.
I think it's time we pull out, and let Iraq be Iraq. Not America v.2.0-Beta. The situation over there was safer before we showed up.
Before the rest of you go crazy, I do realize there were terrorist related deaths in Iraq, before 9-11, but not this many.

Who cares? I mean you are talking about people on yahoo politics answers... how many people responded? did you get between 15-20 answers? And YOU say that "democrats and libs" think one way... given only 20 answers (and i bet I am being generous).
Let me help you in on a fact, not a secret, the American population is over 250million people... let me put it another way 250,000,000 people. That's a lot more than 20.
Put that into perspective please and just relax about "libs", scary "libs". You make us conservatives look stupid. I would rather that you just asked a valid question rather than attack a different view point disguised as a political question.

No, it's not true that dems or libs care only about us; in fact, I find the opposite is true. Most of those who value only American lives are to the right.
Bombing and torturing people isn't exactly "caring" now, is it?

Like I said in previous posts, I'm switching to Libertarian. But, I am "American first". I don't think we should have been there to begin with, and now, we are spending a buttload of money on Iraqi civilians that could be spent on American civilians - oh, but that would be considered "socialist" if we spent it on our own people.

I am surprised, since right-wing clods are forever accusing Liberals and Democrats of HATING America! It's good that people are realizing that we put America and Americans first, and don;t want to go on sacrificing OUR lives for people who don't appreciate it and who think it's okay to kill us. most americans couldnt point to iraq on a map, to them its not real..........soilders dying and comming back missing limbs dont mean anything to them, the fact americans are killing people on the other side of the world means nothing to them
