D. See them running & pretend to open the door but really don't.

I guess i am just mean like that or always need a good laugh. (unless it is at a hospital then I am nice & be sure to hold the door for them)

Haha, what an original question!!

I usually try to: B. Put my hand int he door so that it won't close. I'm going to have to rethink that now after reading how someone else hurt their arm doing that!! Maybe I'll go with the frantic button pressing from now on!

I always try to wait for them because I'm always running late, so I can sympathize with the runners!!

E) Look at them directly in the eyes as they come towards you. If they make it in time to get on with you, pat them on the shoulder and mention the benefits of exercise in today's overweight society. If they don't make it, begin laughing hysterically as the door closes in their face. If there are people on with you, then simply state he had a funny looking face.

Press the close button over and over and pray they don't make it. Whatever they are running from if it gets them then I am home safe. Smile. I am sure you meant something a little less dramatic? I take the stairs it is better for me anyway.

A or B usually.

I try not to put my arm between the doors because when I was in college, I broke my arm doing just that (fractured a bone in my left elbow because the elevator was malfunctioning and I didn't know it).

Whenever I feel that it is inconveniencing me, I just remember that I am getting "karma points" by my silent suffering. :)

A....I always hold the Door Open Button...unless the Elevator is crowded, then I'll say "We're Full"!
