I only like professional firework displays. They are safer, more beautiful (especially ones over a lake) and the smoke and mess is not a big issue. In a city/subdivision it is dangerous air to breath if a lot of fire works are going on and you are outside.

A) i was at a party (halloween) and it was a fancy dress party and one of the ppl put his hat on the rocket and it went into the air and then came back down in the middle of us and went BANG so he done it agen and the second time it went across the roof of the house and back to us lol and another guy held a rocket in his hands instead of putting it in tha ground and it lit but didnt go up in the air and he chucked it but in the heat of the moment he chucked it at us and afta it went out his jumper was in fire FIREWORKS ARE WICKED!!!

B - hate them - due to an incident when I was a child, I was at a firework diplay and a catherine wheel came off the post and headed towards my dad. I've never forgotten that night.

D. Does the SF bay area really need 13 different show for 4th of July? If you stand on my roof you can see 10 different ones and hear them all night!!!

I'll go with a (d); they are so damn loud here in Malta! Their blast is so powerful they set off car alarms and sometimes even break windows! Firework manufacturers should be sued! I hate them!

Out of your options I'd have to choose e. I hate fireworks, mainly because they're so loud they actually hurt my ears when they go off (if they're close to me). I don't object to others using them as long as they don't act stupidly with them, others have as much right to use them and enjoy using them as I have not to use them and not like them. It's all a matter of personal taste.
