Belichick makes his Patriots choke on humble pie. I saw an interview with Bruschi, Vrabel, and Seau and they say Belichick has a policy on egos, leave them at the door. No one is better than anyone else on the team. No egos allowed. They (Pats) don't talk smack to other teams, they respect them too much to do so. Instead of talking smack the Pats will just run up the score on you. That's not disrespect, that's the NFL.

I think that you underestimate the skill of New England and Indy. They are the top teams in the leagues with the best team play. Plus, they are already humble having fought for championships in the previous five years. It's going to be a battle this weekend.

No, humbleness is not going to get you very far in professional sports at all. You have to be confident of your skills and no what you are capable of doing.
Why?
Because the other 11 men standing in front of you ready to rip your head off are not going to be humble about doing it! In fact there job is to basically humiliate you and make you look bad. A humble player can not be counted on to be the animal on the field needed to win games. Most offensive players are cooky and confident in what they are able to do. That doesnt mean they are loudmouths or boastful about it, but they all have to have a sort of "swagger" to them or the game itself will eat them up because of the constant pressure they face week in and week out.
I mean really have you ever seen a player in real life like "JOE KINGMAN" the Rock in Gameplan, or one like "LEON" from those budweiser commercials? No and you never will.

You go girl! I know what you're talking about, the Pats team had shirts made that all say "humble pie" on the back. On the front they all say "I eat it", except belickick's shirt, his says "I serve it". That's one of the many things that make the Pats so great. After this season, when the Pats go 19 and 0, other teams will look at the Pats and wonder if they shouldn't try to be more like them.

fans too. But I wouldn't limit this to the NFL. The WORLD would be a better place if more people learned to be humble.

I hope you are talking about your Pats (since they are only 8-0 team atm). They definately need to eat some humble pie. They should be force fed some in the Circle City tomorow.
