i have new hauppauge tv tuner is not work in india-chennai i dont know why.. plz help me?

Is the tuner capable of receiveing channels on the frequencty being broadcast in your area ?
Have you told the software where in teh world it is so it knows WHAT waveband to use.

Did you conenct it to a good aerial witha known good signal ?
