To all those who have insulted me and said some terrible things. WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? I am entitled to my opinion the same way you are. I have never insulted anyone one here and I never will because I respect the opinions of others even if I disagree with them. That's what this is remember, a forum, where people of differing opinions can voice them. Please just don't look at my posts if you can't handle an OPINION that differs from yours. The McCann case is ALL speculation because NO ONE KNOWS what happened so your theory of abduction is as much speculation as my theory of the parents involvement. I'm thick skinned but some of the insults I have had thrown at me lately are disgusting.

Hi, I've read a few of the insults you have had recently and I (personally) think your self control is great.. a lot better than mine would be.. there was one I couldn't just ignore the other day, (unlike you) I had to say something.. and it seems she had second thoughts and realised what a witch she was being and deleted her answer ... to which i done the same...
Ignore them, it seems it is OK for the (SOME of the) 'pro's' to slag off the 'anti's' off, but hey just don't touch the McCanns.. whatever happened that night, they are guilty of at least one thing.. NO-ONE can argue with that..

Regarding the McCanns. I don't know what you post, but it is obvious that the media and most people that subscribe to there line of thought have no interest in the real underlying question. That being, What in the name of the good Lord an Savior Jesus Christ Almighty possessed these people to leave a 6 year old alone?

You will always get this when you are the type of person that is not afraid to carry an opinion and stick to it. Some people are unable to voice a different opinion without resorting to the most basic form of defence. It's a shame, because it spoils debate, from which we can all learn. I really believe as well, that it shows that some people cannot interact socially, they simply can't communicate in an effective way. You have proved that you can do this - so perhaps it makes them feel inadequate.

I agree totally. Insults are what people resort to when they can't argue back. Opinions are opinions, and whatever we think on here, it won't change the investigation, or what really happened. I just wish we could all debate reasonably, because I think that a lot of people (both Pro and Anti) have great points, and I wish we could discuss them without certain people resorting to abuse or saying 'Get a life' if it's not what they want to hear. I have seen some of the insults, and they are disgusting. I just wish both sides would stop sniping at each other, because then we might get a reasonable discussion about this.

I have noticed that things are becoming a bit 'tribal' regarding the McCann saga but,as adults,we should be able to voice an opinion and agree to disagree. I do hope i've not been one of the offenders...

Everyone at one time or another gets insulted for their opinions. Don't take it to heart. That is what happens when you post your opinions on a forum. Yes it's nerve racking but why give them another chance to insult you because of your opinions by posting this? I understand that you want ppl to know how you feel, but you have just opended yourself for more, what the insulters like to call, "public humiliation". Now that they know it gets under your skin, they are going to do it more. But don't stop posting your opinions. Thats what they want you to do.
I hate to break it to you though, now with this post, all those insulters and going to feel like they have won. Sounds stupid i know, but ppl like that are crazy.

I agree with you Trancebabe, you do get a lot of abuse, and nobody knows the facts. There is some pointers to the McCanns, take no notice of the rude ones, bide your time.

I enjoy reading your Q's and I just think that the folks who spend all their time hurling insults should just go and answer Q on knitting or bull fighting. Keep up the good work.
In view of the recent dna results I now think it is time for Kate to come clean and tell everyone what she is hiding (it's obvious she IS hiding something) before she goes down the hard route and gets the truth dragged out of her by the PJ.IF these results are true then the net is surely closing on the McCanns.

Well said Trancebabe, some people just cant accept an opinion different to their own. Just carry on! The difference is the speculation of parents involvement can be proved scientifically whereas the abduction theory cannot and doesnt make sense.
