When your the biggest kid on the block with the best destructive weapons. But fear an idea or political belief you can just about do or say whatever you want to protect yourself even if it means making enemies on a global scale. Remember the US is still mandated to not only fight terror on a global scale but Communism as well. So if it wasn't in the middle east it would be somewhere else for some other reason. I've always been a believer in taking care of my own yard first then my nabours but only if they ask for help. Not by kicking in their door and screaming I'm here to protect me form you.

In binary options you will have the possibility to predict the movement of various assets such as stocks, currency pairs, commodities and indices. Learn how you can make money trading binary options https://tr.im/2vmof
An option has only two outcomes (hence the name “binary” options). This is because the value of an asset can only go up or down during a given time frame. Your task will be to predict if the value of an asset with either go up or down during a certain amount of time.

We kind of are the world's police by default - we have the largest economy in terms of gross domestic product, and we have many important trading partners around the world.
We get a ton of oil from Mexico, for example, and we export a lot of trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and other heavy industry capital goods back to Mexico, presumably to be used by those Mexicans we haven't put on welfare in the US. (???)
Occaisionally, we need to protect our allies or trading partners from unrest, instability, attack, etc. To withdraw into isolationism would greatly damage our economy (as has been the case with any nation that isolates itself, eg, North Korea).
We also have 200 years of stated committment to democracy, capitalism, freedom, civil rights, and equal justice. It would be a little hypocritical to sit on our hands when another area of the world erupts into revolution, tyranny, injustice, etc.
This is why we intervened in Bosnia, Somalia, etc, even though we didn't need to for any strategic or self-interested reason.
This isn't to say, of course, that we've never supported unsavory (or just plain evil) regimes that were important strategic allies, nor that we've never ignored atrocities committed by other countries, as we certainly have done so on numerous past occaisions.
But all in all, many of our values as Americans and our dominant economic position predispose us to being the de facto "World's Policeman."

American high school history class taught us that our "World Police" duties started around around WW I.

Yes, we are soo rich that we can afford to act however we want! Isn't that they way the rich act?

Our responsibility as a world superpower has required us to act globally.

Mexicans live in a far more corrupt and poorer nation, why wouldn't hey come here for the handouts.?

Since most of the rest of the world was willing to follow the three key principals of the French (which are 1. Run, 2. Hide, 3. Surrender & cooperate) it was up to Uncle Surgar to save the planet from the totaltarian abyss not once, not twice, but three times in the last century.
