First, Hit Emergency blinkers to warn others of vehicle problem. Shift to neutral, turn engine off. With expected loss of brakes, Hold steering wheel tightly for control and coast to safe stop--preferably off roadway. ( If it was me, I woud hit Blue OnStar button, Call AAA and Finally, I would kick my dumb hiny for operating an unsafe vehicle in the first place. Responsible drivers perform safe vehicle checks, including lights BEFORE getting on the roadway.
