Ive been on the DepoShot for about 3year and I hated it. I had spotting about every day (Im not kidding) The docs would always tell me "just wait for another shot it will help" but it never did.

I switched to normal birth control pills about 6months ago. And I have a normal peroid now. But I just dont trust the pills. I do take them daily at the same time, but still.

My bf and I dont use condoms but he doesnt ejaculate in me (plz dont rant about how he can still get me pregnant bc he doesnt ejeculate in me I know)

The question is though, I still get paranoid and I will sometimes stop taking the pills early to see if I will start my peroid. I always do.. but is this hurting my body to do this?

I stop them early because its nerve racking to wait 3weeks to stop taking the pills to have my peroid to see if I have my peroid or not.

I just DONT want to get pregnant, Im to young. Im 19.

Stop this immediately!

Its not hurting your body but it reduces the effectiveness of the pill working. Take it as instructed so it works properly, doing this makes it more risky on the pregnancy front.

Well you can get pregnant off of pre ***...

But don't try to induce your period that way. Take the pills as prescribed.

Why do you want to do this? You said you have a normal period now, so why stop the pills?

No, but it does increase your chance of pregnancy if you quit taking the pills early, as it induced ovulation. So your chances of getting pregnant are greater if you quit taking the pill in the middle of the month.
Have faith in the pill, and if he is not ejaculating in you, you wont get pregnant as long as you take the pill properly.

By you stopping your pills you are actually INCREASING your risk of becoming pregnant!

Trust them!!! i got pregnant at 15 then had an abortion THEN they put me birth control and i've been on it for 3 years. My fiancee NEVER uses a condom and i havent gotten pregnant.

DONT BE SOO PARANOID if you take them everyday then you are protected 98 % to 99.7 %
